Project Compliance Engineer

What you can expect
The Project Compliance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the assigned programs are executing the process effectively, efficiently and on time. This new position works directly with the entire project team and their leaders to ensure the timely and accurate implementation of all “Processes and Evidence’s” for the duration of the development lifecycle of the Magna Electronics Build-to-Print Projects.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Create Work Products required for Project Compliance such as Project Compliance Plan, Project Compliance Timing Plan, Monthly Compliance Status Report;
- Plan, perform, and communicate regular Process Compliance checks for all the Project and Engineering involved Processes
- Create the necessary custom reports to support high quality reviews with assigned projects leaders.
- Monitor the maturity of Work Products thru the full development cycle to ensure that they are delivered per the Plan.
- Ensure that tailoring is defined and agreed according to project scope.
- Support all quotes and change requests to ensure that project work and costs are properly identified.
- Support all Program/Engineering/Manufacturing Gates for the assigned projects.
- Support all Quality/ASPICE internal & external assessments/audits as required.
- Support improvements to the Magna Electronics process as requested by the Tools & Processes team. Drive changes to the tool chain as required to improve execution and reporting.
This role may support both European and North American Projects in the TISH Product Area.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor/master's in electrical/mechanical
- At least 6+ years of working experience in Automotive industry (Domains: Quality, Audits)
- Knowledge of IATF-16949, ISO-26262, ASPICE
- Ability to moderate and perform 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone analysis.
- Relevant experience in development and implementation of QA policies, processes, and tools
- Knowledge on Project management, and Application development
- Knowledge of FMEA activities: D-FMEA and P-FMEA
- Comfortable and capable of performing self-dependent work, proactive, identifies and resolves gaps and issues
- Systematic, organized, and structured working style
- Team player who is proactive, quality-conscious, customer-oriented, and results-oriented
- Comprehensive knowledge of the English language (spoken & written)

- Leadership and Ownership. Successful candidates enjoy pulling together groups of people to find solutions and to solve problems.
- Like to work with people (uses the phone instead of emails to communicate, is proactive, anticipates risks and acts to prevent problems before they occur)
