Senior Engineering Robustness Manager

What you can expect
Participate as a member of cross functional teams, representing Engineering Excellence. Monitor multiple programs to assess engineering status, support in problem resolution, and ensure cross-program communication and implementation of lessons learned.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead lessons learned creation, read across, and track lessons learned implementation in projects.
• Perform technical reviews of project deliverables including requirements, architecture, test specification, and software implementation, etc.
• Leading problem control such as issue control board based on reviews of technical content of the issue tickets.
• Conduct continuous checks throughout program phases to assess process adherence, evaluate process deviations and perform professional escalations.
• Identify and propose process improvement actions and defect prevention initiatives.
• Coach the project team on following process and resolving gaps in work products.
• Work cooperatively with team leaders to provide guidance and support with product quality issues.
• Encourage communication and foster a collaborative work environment across program teams.
• Provide regular updates on assigned programs for key project indicators (KPI’s).
• Conduct structured problem solving (e.g., 8D, 5W2H) with the project teams.
What you'll bring
-
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality or related field, master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years’ experience in a quality engineering role or product development engineering role in ADAS or Infotainment product area.
• ASPICE assessor certified.
• Strong technical understanding of electronics development with massive software complexity. Experience in a camera product is a plus.
• Knowledge on IATF 16949.
• Strong communication skills: verbal, written and technical presentations.
• Proficient with word processing spreadsheet and database applications
• Self-motivated/self-organized, proactive mindset, and open to communicate.
• Willingness to drive changes and improvements within the engineering organization.
