What you can expect

• Design SIL for different projects and lead the development activities.
• Lead discussions with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Create architectural vision and roadmap for the future. Show milestones and deliverables to evolve from current implementations.
• Establish and document critical requirements for the SIL intended for different product lines.
• Ensure that the defined requirements are implemented correctly by the development team by reviewing validation results.
• Evaluate existing solutions or tools available in the market as well as new technologies & standards for SIL design.
• Support the validation team with strategies or ideas to test peculiar requirements.
• Promote maximum reusability of the already developed components/solutions.
• Support effort estimation for SIL in upcoming projects.

What you'll bring 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Science / Mechatronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years’ relevant experience working as technical lead or architect in software development projects preferably for SIL or simulation projects.
• Experience with data-driven development and verification in the ADAS/AD domain is preferred.

• Extensive experience in SIL and software verification & validation.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages (C/C++, Python, CMake, Bash, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of Rapid Prototyping Tools & Simulation Frameworks (ADTF, ROS2, Matlab/Simulink)
• Experience in development in Linux and Docker as well as CI pipelines.
• Knowledge of AWS
• Experience in developing Co-simulations (FMUs) & knowledge of simulation standards (ASAM or other standards)
• Knowledge of Automotive SW & Autosar Architecture
• Knowledge of Automotive communication standards (i.e. CAN, aETH, etc…)
• Knowledge of ECU Virtualization
• Experience with SIL tools in the Automotive Industry (ECU virtualization, sensor simulation, vehicle & environment simulation and co-simulation): dSPACE tools, Vector tools, CarMaker, Applied Intuition etc.
• Good English
• German skills nice to have
• Openness to travel may be needed (domestic and international)
