Software Architect Lead

What you can expect
General Software Development
- Collaborate in Design, implementation, testing, Code Reviews and debug core and/or application-specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects
- Perform Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and support in Root Cause Analysis (5xWhy, etc.)
- Verify software requirements at the component and bench level
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts
- Provide competitive technical proposals, engineering estimates, and technical review materials aligned with pursuit targets and agreed-upon timing to support sales objectives
- Benchmark competitor solutions and identify strategies to improve or surpass the competition
- Lead the SW Architecture team for the outcomes on SW Architecture Specification – SW Context, SW Static Decomposition, SW Dynamic Behaviour, Resources (memory and timing), Concept Development, Analyse design alternatives
Supporting Projects as Domain/Functional Lead
- Estimate effort for domain work packages
- Plan and coordinate team and team member activities
- Track and Monitor team progress
- Monitor quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Present team status updates to domain stakeholders and Management
- Manage interfaces with other domain stakeholders
Customers and Business Interfaces
- Review System Architecture, Software, Software Integration, Hardware-Software and Software Component Specifications
- Present work products and concepts to customers
- Participate in software planning activities
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master’s preferred)
- 10+ years’ relevant experience regarding SW Development for automotive electronics serial development projects (mandatory)
- Expertise in UML and Enterprise Architect/Rhapsody to render Architecture/detailed design (UML, Arc42 etc.)
- Working knowledge in development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment
- Experience with Safety Standards (e.g., ISO26262), Security Standards (e.g., ISO SAE 21434)
- Organizational, project management and leadership skills to prioritize, coordinate projects, manage conflicting needs and deal with many work items and/or issues at once
- Experience in using a disciplined software development process based on ASPICE or CMMi process model
- Working knowledge of configuration management (preferably PTC/MKS/Codebeamer), project monitoring and control techniques
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Knowledge of structured problem solving (8D) methods and/or techniques
- Use of AUTOSAR based tools from Vector/ Electrobit or equivalent
- Experience in design and development of AUTOSAR classic and AUTOSAR adaptive SW Architecture
- Experience in Automotive Communication Protocols CAN, ETH and LIN
